Why Red Sky Training & Coaching Programs work
Organisations around the globe spend somewhere between $150-200bil annually on training and development. As frightening as it seems, research shows that only about 15% of participants who participate in training or coaching activities actually do anything to put their learning into practice back in the workplace.
The bottom line is that unless you have a plan in place to support your people in applying their learning back in the workplace, your investment in training will achieve very little for the individual or your business.
To give you a feel for how we think about training, in every project we seek to maximise:
- Learning up-take: how much relevant content a participant learns during a training course;
- Learning transference: to what degree a participant can apply what they have learned on the job to achieve better results;
- Learning sustainability: the extent to which new skills and work habits are sustained over time, thereby reducing regression back to old habits.
We do this by working with you to identify how best to support your people, before during and after their training.
